Equipping the next generation of IT talent
For Arkansas companies to succeed, their leaders need to make the right decisions. In order to make the right decisions, they need reliable data. Data science professionals are vital to the health of an organization. ACDS is helping our state's two- and four-year colleges and universities leverage their opportunity to equip the next generation of technology leaders.
Data Science Curriculum
Through workshops, panel discussions, and other programs, ACDS is connecting employers with colleges and universities across the state to help faculty and students better understand the critical need employers have for data science and general IT talent.

In collaboration with these partners, we are working to build a shared data science curriculum accessible online and taught by shared faculty - statewide.
Our Mission
Our mission is two-fold:
1. To ensure that the IT/data science degree program graduates have the skills they need to add immediate value to their employers.
2. To enable more graduates to develop successful careers in Arkansas - working for Arkansas companies.
