The Launch of the Workforce Opportunity for Rural Communities (WORC) grant identified as the SCALE UP and SCALE OUT program being implemented by the Arkansas Center for Data Sciences and all of the grant partners.  Each of the rural counties will be hosting a lunch at local sites in Pine Bluff, Jonesboro, Newport, Batesville and Blytheville.

During the luncheon provided through ACDS, a program will be delivered by ACDS via Zoom. We invite everyone to learn about the detailed next steps for candidates, training partners, employers and the supporting organizations to implement pre-apprenticeship training, work-based learning internships and registered apprenticeships using the ACDS model that has proven to be hugely successful around the state of Arkansas.

The hosts and sites will be as follows:

• Pine Bluff – Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) on campus (Dr. Stephen Bloomberg)

• Jonesboro - ASUN Workforce Training Center, 5501 Krueger Drive
